Certificate in National Preparedness and Homeland Security
Government

The Center for National Preparedness and College of General Studies regularly collaborate on education and training matters with local, state, regional, and federal preparedness agencies. These agencies continue to provide input on the NPHS certificate program, with some lending their experts as guest lecturers or instructors. Government partners such as the Region 13 response consortium, the Federal Executive Board, and FEMA Region III also have agreed to make opportunities available for certificate students to participate in their exercises or serve at their agencies through internships and directed studies.

The involvement of all levels of government in the program ensures its relevance to public sector professionals interested in enhancing their careers through the certificate.
