 The Certificate in National Preparedness and Homeland Security, created by the University of Pittsburgh Center for National Preparedness (CNP) and College of General Studies (CGS), is designed to prepare future and current professionals for leadership roles in business, government and non-profit agencies. It responds to the need for preparedness experts resulting from the 9/11 terrorist attacks and such natural disasters as Hurricane Katrina.
